The
Irish National Stud at Tully, home to some of Ireland's
finest thoroughbreds. You can see stallions, mares and
yearlings. The Horse Museum contains the history of the
stud farm's successes and the skeleton of the legendary
steeple chaser Arkle.
Japanese water gardens and St Fiachra's Garden are both
located in the grounds of the Irish National Stud. The
Water gardens created between 1906 and 1910 are acclaimed
to be the finest Japanese water gardens in Europe. St
Fiachra's Garden celebrates the Irish landscape and the
Millenium.
Ballitore Quaker Museum contains displays and artifacts
based on the Quaker families that lived in Ballitore.
Peatland World, Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park.
Situated in the heart of Lullymore , an island in the Bog
of Allen. The park has indoor exhibitions, re-creations of
old dwellings and you can walk through the woodlands and
gardens.
